In 2024, Maine voters approved a $10 million dollar grant program for the restoration of historic community buildings owned by governmental and non-profit organizations. The Maine Historic Preservation Commission awarded over $2.14 million in Round 1 of the Historic Community Buildings Grant program. Erika Webb, Historic Community Buildings Grant Administrator, will share information about program eligibility and requirements. We strongly encourage attendance if your governmental or non-profit organization intends to apply in Round 2, which is slated to open on July 31.
