WindowDressers

WindowDressers is a nonprofit organization that trains, supplies, and supports teams of community volunteers to build insulating window inserts for themselves and their neighbors. Our inserts about double the insulating value of your windows while preserving all of the lights and views from your window. When you order inserts from WindowDressers, you become a part of the process! We will invite you to participate in one of our fall/ winter "Community Builds" where you will learn one step in the insert-building process while your neighbors complete the other steps. It's like an old-fashioned barn-raising for windows! All tools, materials, and training are provided. No experience necessary. All abilities welcome. In the end, you will have had fun learning a new skill, made some new friends, and will take your inserts home to keep your windows warmer and save money on your heating bills. Join us!
