NEW!  One of the most rewarding aspects of working to preserve our heritage are the success stories from people who have made a difference.  Do you have a great preservation story to share? We’d like to read it! May is National Preservation Month – a time to celebrate successes and shine the spotlight on preservation needs. We are seeking true stories that illustrate historic preservation in action –
compelling, thought provoking, yes - even funny stories are invited. Final selections will be shared on our website and in future issues of Maine Preservation News. The first 25 to submit stories will receive a book of their choice from Maine Preservation’s collection.  Please tell us your story. Include the protagonist (heroes and/or heroines), the plot (goal and challenges), any conflicts, setbacks, or hurdles along the way, and the conclusion. Please attach a digital photo, or mail us a print and we’ll scan it. If we print your
story, we will need permission to also print your name.
