Contact one of Maine Preservation's two Field Service Preservation Advisors, who offer free consulting (currently funded by grants), offering initial planning advice for preservation projects in Maine. The Preservation Advisors can help a project get off to a good start by recommending a building assessment, exploring the feasibility of alternative uses, and discussing potential resources. Some projects will qualify for matching $500 seed grants to help them move to the next phase.
