Clarence Mulford House - Fryeburg

Saved! This three-story Main Street home was purchased by Clarence Mulford in 1927 and remained his home until his death in 1956. Home to the author who created 28 "Hopalong Cassidy" novels, the National Register-eligible house is privately owned and was threatened with demolition and redevelopment. The property has since been purchased and is privately owned by a preservation minded citizen.
